Scientific Face Reading
The world believes the mask.
Brain-Shot checks what is genuinely visible in the jaw, eyelids and mouth.
By the mask, we mean a person’s visible facial expression and manner. The mask need not be false. But its impact is not yet evidence of what it means.
A calm face can convey confidence. A hard stare can trigger resistance in your body. Brain-Shot trains you not to confuse your first impression with the truth.
First, you learn to recognise the automatic reaction in your own body and brain. Then you learn to observe visible tension in the jaw, eyelids and mouth and check it against the context.
Mini face reading
This is the impression the face creates at first glance.
Hermes verifies. He does not guess.
The living Olympus stage
Who is Zeus hearing right now?
Act 1 · Outside
The face looks calm.
‘Yes, that’s fine.’ Three harmless words.
By the mask, we mean the visible facial expression. It need not be false. Hermes observes the jaw, eyelids and mouth. What the three words mean has not yet been checked.
Instrument check
Deliberate simplification: each god represents an involved brain or body system. The brief everyday explanation appears directly beside the name.
Zeus still knows only three words. Then Pythia reports tightness in the chest.

THE PROBLEM
Their face looked calm. Your body reported tightness.
Someone says, with a calm face, ‘Yes, that’s fine.’ Others hear agreement. Tightness develops in your chest.
Pythia reports only the body signal. Hera calls it danger. Zeus turns it into the judgement: ‘They are rejecting me.’ Hermes knows that this meaning has not yet been checked.
The first impression feels like the truth
A calm smile or a hard stare can determine your body’s reaction before you have checked the face and the context.
You doubt your own perception
Others see calm. You feel pressure. Instead of checking what it means, you begin to doubt yourself.
The signal test shows which facial expression activates your alarm system especially quickly.
Hermes loses
Truth has no siren in the old Olympus.
Hermes demands evidence
A first impression does not prove what something means.
Zeus could still listen to Hermes
Hermes can check the face and the context for visible clues.
The powerful alarm signals win
Hermes does not lose because he is wrong. Hermes loses because the alarm and the body’s reaction are given more weight.
Only when your fact-checker is heard again does clear Face Reading become possible.
METHOD
Brain-Shot does not believe the first impression. Brain-Shot checks visible signals.
A facial expression creates an impact. Tension in the jaw, eyelids and mouth provides observable data. The context helps you check what it means.
Brain-Shot combines this observation with physical learning and conscious checking of the first interpretation.
Facial muscle tone
You observe where the jaw, eyelids and mouth appear tense or relaxed.
Learn physically and through imagery
Children learn quickly when they observe, imitate and use concrete images. In the training, you use your own body awareness as a learning aid — not as proof of what a facial expression means.
Check the meaning
Hermes, your fact-checker, compares your body’s reaction, visible signals and context before they become an assessment.
Face Reading begins where impact is no longer accepted as evidence.
SHORTS
The Shorts train your cockpit.
Your reaction begins before conscious thought starts. OS 1.0 – your old operating system, built for Stone Age alarm and familiar habits. It reacts first and asks questions later. In the past, a false alarm was usually cheaper than a missed danger.
You learn to notice what is happening in the cockpit and what your body is reporting.
Signal test
It shows which facial expression activates your alarm system especially quickly.
Read the body and Olympus
You recognise Hera, your alarm system involving the amygdala, and hear how Zeus, your conscious judgement, explains the reaction.
Train a new response pattern
You train yourself to notice the alarm earlier and stop acting on it automatically.
OS 1.0 may keep warning you. OS 2.0 is trained perception and conscious response: alarm no longer decides alone.
BACHELOR
In the Bachelor, you learn to read faces.
In the Face Reading Bachelor, you learn to observe visible tension in the jaw, eyelids and mouth and check it against the context.
You distinguish visible tension, pressure and openness from the impact a person presents to the outside world.
Perceive more clearly inside
The Shorts train you to recognise body signals and automatic interpretations earlier.
Read more precisely outside
In the Bachelor, you observe the jaw, eyelids and mouth and check what they mean against the context.
FOUNDER
This method began with a face that no longer moved after an accident.
Magdalena Bischof developed it into pragmatic training: visual, close to the body and verifiable.
